The Manx Bat Group regularly undertakes surveys of properties or particular locations to check for the presence of bats. This is particularly important if the property is subject to a planning proposal. Anyone can help and more volunteers are usually required. Contact us if you'd like to help. Training will be provided.
Members can join in with various bat surveys and ongoing roost monitoring. Contact each coordinator below for details.

Do you need a survey for planning?
The Manx Bat Group can undertake bat surveys required as part of the planning process. They are undertaken by trained volunteers. A fee is charged based on volunteer time and related expenses and you will receive a written report. For more information contact Nick Pinder.
